Because each fan base laughs when the other loses plus it's rare LSU fans call other in-state schools "little brother."

I’ve never talked to an LSU fan in person that’s cared about ULL one way or another. But on here I see constant bashing. TD is a weird place.

Go on Twitter. You'll see it. It is weird.

The only time ULL is relevant to me is when we play them in any sport. And more times than not, they come with some bullshite like what the basketball coach did when we played them in the NIT that time when he said LSU was "scared" to do a regular season series with them. General Wade shot that down pretty quickly.

And the amount of arse-hurt their fans had when Yvette Girouard left there to come to LSU was over the top. I still remember that, and it was 25 years ago. LSU played in a regional at ULL in 2002 and Cajun "fans" showed up to an LSU-Arizona State game just to shite on Girouard. Thankfully, that situation has finally been patched up over the last few years.

Come on. You know that's true. Go on The Rant right now talking about the most/least favorite teams in the state and see the unanimous pick for the least favorite. "They don't know their place."

That coach was a douche for sure. If they started challenging us I’d obviously root for them to fail but they seem pretty harmless. I find myself pulling for Tulane and Tech sports more than ULL.

Marlin did the same to his own football team after a loss once so this is nothing new. Thankfully, we have a new coach now. As for Yvette, that whole thing was bad on both ends. Even she admits there were some things she regretted doing when she left for LSU. Luckily, time has healed and now the softball stadium is named after her.

No that’s you just self inflating your “we won’t bow down to anyone!!” theory lol

So then why are we the unanimous least favorite team then on that thread? It’s not random.

Maybe learn your damn place then. That would solve all the issues.

Win for LSU is simply a win for LSU. And a loss for LSU is just a loss for LSU.

A win for ULL is a win for Alabama against LSU. A win for ULL is getting an LSU baseball stream shut down.

You spend more than the Cajuns entire baseball budget in NIL for mercenaries to lose in the Super Regionals.

Our place is trying to grow our brand and growing as a school, not what LSU WANTS us to be. As far as the last part, the whole Alabama fandom thing is overplayed from the Rant and I have no idea of what you’re talking about with the LSU baseball stream being shut down.

Maybe some of you should take your own advice based on the way some of you react to our name and whatnot. Even your own fans have called out their own this.

You’re basing this off of a fan podcast?

I can say the same on the way some of the lsu podcasts have dumped on us. If that’s the case, some of our distain that your fans are complaining about are justified.

You know living in Lafayette I've always heard the hate from Cajun fans against LSU and always thought "LSU sure don't act like this towards ULL"...you fellas are sure proving me wrong.

I went to both LSU and USL. I am from Lafayette and experienced the hard core Cajun fans, they are the LSU haters. Think the Raymond Blanco types for those of you from here. When I went to LSU no one ever really cared about USL or any other state school not named Tulane. The Cajun haters in the Lafayette area are mostly people who never attended LSU, but pull for them in sports. LSU grads here don't see the Cajuns as some threat to LSU's flagship or sports dominance. The name thing to me was stupid, I liked USL. I thought they should have kept it and called themselves the Univ. of South LA and NLU should have gone by North LA Univ., but no we're left with the stupid hyphens and the name game continues.
