I would agree with Kelvin Sampson at Indiana. The sanctions and the type of players he recruited left the program in shambles for 4 seasons.

I can't believe you are saying Lane Kiffin. They're pretty damn good and he's done a good job at SC so far.

Although he did suck, he did at least improve every year he was there. Bill Callahan was worse at Nebraska in my opinion. He led the Cornhuskers to two losing seasons in four years. He also finished ranked in a major poll only once in four years after the Huskers had only finished unranked once since 1962. He was 1-10 against teams ranked in the Top 25, 0-17 in games in which he trailed at halftime, 25-21 against Division I opponents, 15-18 against the Big 12, and coached the program to two of its four non-winning seasons in 46 years. That, my friends, is the epitome of suck.

Rodriguez at Michigan
McDaniels at Denver. He single handedly took that team to the bottom of the league & traded away what talent they had

This is the winner of the NFL category, IMO. I'm convinced he was acting as a double agent for the Cheifs/Raiders/Chargers.

Ron Zook was bad by UF standards, but I wouldn't necessarily rank him as one of the worst of the decade.
He did go 16-8 in SEC play over 3 years, which isn't horrible.

Bobby Petrino is a POS and a coward but the Vick disaster overshadowed Petrino's "coaching" tenure with the Falcons

He also thoroughly beat 2003 LSU on their home field with a true freshman at QB. LSU didn't even score an offensive touchdown in that game. He also had a winning record against Mark Richt when UGA was at their peak and recruited most of the players that Urban Meyer won the NC with in 2006. Zook wasn't even close to being a disastrous coaching hire.

If by last decade you mean 2000-2009, then Larry Coker.

yeah im sure it was all Kiffins fault that they are in shambles. Had nothing to do with the previous regime
One coach is going to have a preseason top 5 team next year and the other got passed up by Kansas for Charlie the Hutt.

Which is why it was a bad hire by Florida. It may not have been bad for other schools, but for them it was.
