He may just like pool. I've never played snooker, but I play in two different pool leagues, so I'm interested in watching championship billiards.

15 red balls - value 1 pt
6 other color balls with varying value:
Black - 7 pts
Pink - 6 pts
Blue - 5 pts
Brown - 4 pts
Green - 3 pts
Yellow - 2 pts
Must shoot for red first then follow with other color.
Then back to red...
Keep going until all reds are gone then clear the table... Yellow thru black.
You miss... Oppenent takes over.
Maximum possible score 147... Assuming red black red black etc and colors in sequence.
Each game is a "frame".
Winner is best of 3/5/7.... frames.
