Because if you pay attention, there’s no hard stop at a particular time. They aren’t going to blow the game dead if a team is attacking in an advantageous position.

You must not watch the NBA at the end of a game. They'll stare at a fricking screen for 10 minutes to put .1 seconds on the clock. You can keep that shite

You don’t like soccer. You dont watch soccer. But you want to change the rules. Even though the people who like soccer dont have a problem with it.

Yeah, soccer is the problem. Not you. I’m sure that’s it.

And you're fos. Every watching soccer fan on earth would rather 1 true clock with correct time, period.

If they held a vote, over 99% would change system, not the rules...learn the difference

Simply stop the clock when you deem time is being wasted on non playing issues

That’s what NCAA soccer does. Each half starts at 45 and counts down, when clock hits 0 it’s over. The ref signals to a clock operator during each half to pause for injuries, goal celebrations, VAR, etc

It’s the only level of soccer I’ve ever seen do that

I hear ya....its a televised event, world wide, and they want to attract as many new viewers, and keep others engaged in the game.

It's just so archaic

Yep.. I hate it. Takes away from the drama at the end of the match when rather than trying to build up for a last minute goal teams are just kicking it as far as they can and losing the ball
