Why should people care? It's not like the US even beat the real Guay.

Antonio Freeman’s son and Weston McKennie are two examples of this though.
While athleticism is important, theres a reason African nations, despite their massive pool of players, have never won anything.

More than half the team is white/partial African.
Aside from that, what other teams do we know have dominated the sport since the 90s?
Argentina
Spain
Germany
England
Portugal
Italy
Look at those rosters over the last 20 years.
It's not like big clubs dont scout Africa at all.
Its much easier to be a stupid athlete in football than it is in soccer. Africa has talent, but its obvious theres more to it than that.

Everyone needs to thank Aaron Judge for picking Paraguay for Group D

The game is hard enough without all the acting, get your arse up and play or maybe some rules and dimensions need to be changed.
Yeah cause college football players never fake an injury to take a time out when they are gassed. The difference in soccer is they don’t cut to 3 commercials while he catches his breath.

My post was a joke about the demographics of France.

I support a stickied thread. I enjoyed watching the game last night and want to follow the World Cup.

Can we not post the score of the game in the title of the thread?
I was not able to watch the match live, made the mistake of checking out TD and saw the score in the title.

The build up to Reyna’s goal was the best two minutes of possession I’ve ever watched from the US. We completed something like 26 straight passes.
We probed. Worked back. Probed. Worked back. Probed again. Made a great pass to the center. Flipped the field. Then stayed composed in front of the box.
Literally beautiful.

The haters will say “blah blah it’s only Paraguay yada yada” but Paraguay beat some good teams during their qualification
That was quite literally the best the US has ever looked in the World Cup last night, people should be excited
