I'm gonna have to go rewatch the gold medal game to cleanse myself of this.

As much as I’m USA- we didn’t deserve it. Was hoping this game the bats would wake up.
The finals should be Venezuela and DR. Would’ve been an incredible environment.

This lineup is truly pathetic. Bunch of over paid bums.

These plugs couldn’t take advantage of 15 walks from Brazil. Truly embarrassing

Well Japan's probably happy...they will likely say "see, we only lost to the Champs on a bad day and at least the US didn't win".

Amazing we send out a team all Tourney with no bats and actually made the final...two run lead might as well be 6 runs with this team.

Japanese fans aren't like that. There's a lot of respect between USA and Japanese baseball.

Even after they beat us last time there were Japanese fans making note of the fact that we didn't send our best pitching.

I miss small ball. Would be great to have guys who grind, hustle, and steal their way to runs created.

Or let’s just swing for the fence everytime.

That wasn’t even the worst part.

He took the slider low for pitch 1.
Took the slider low for pitch 2.

3rd pitch is a slider down the dick.

4th he spit on another slider.

He’s seen everything the slider can offer and the pitcher has nowhere to throw it. Can’t miss 8 inches low again he’s not even looking at them.

Can’t miss with it over the plate because Judge is hitting it 500 feet after those first 4 pitches.

You HAVE to be thinking nothing but fastball and put a good swing on it if it’s where you want it.

Instead he got buckled but a dick high fastball.

Does the guy throw 99% sliders?

Sounds like an away game since USA fans don’t want to show out. Don’t blame the zuelans for having pride and showing up for their country lmao

I don’t watch MLb, I only know who Skenes, Bregman,, Judge and Harper are

Is this considered a “big time” lineup for the US? Or are these average guys they could get to play?

Fairly certain that Bregman groundout is the hardest ball we've hit tonight.

The lineup is, the pitching is top heavy and falls off quickly, particularly in the bullpen.

I just don’t understand why you don’t pinch hit Gunnar Henderson right there. The hottest hitter in this tournament is resting while Bregman goes 2-22
