It warms my heart that all those Mexico fans are going to shuffle out of the ballpark with their heads down hearing USA chants all the way to the parking lot and playing a sad Mexican ballad in the car while their kids stare off into the distance in the back seat thinking of what could have been.

I was there last night. Top 3 atmosphere for any ball game I have been to. The Mexico fans are awesome. They are rowdy, cheer throughout, and the kids are not sitting there scrolling Instagram or some shite. They actively watch the game. And the Latinas….dayum. They were out in full force.

From my experience, 95% of the time Mexican crowds are fun as frick. Essentially Latino LSU fans where they will give you shite but invite you to party with them.
It's that 5% of the time though that is scary as frick and makes you consider never going to another sporting event again.

I think it is good for growing the game. It isn't like many of these players would have made the US team but decided to play for Italy, Israel, or Great Britain.
