No, they're not worth my time to root against. I'll just be actively not paying attention.

I won't be actively rooting since I will be asleep during their games in New Zealand and Australia.

I would be interested in seeing how Dennis Rodman's daughter plays.

Imagine how weird it is to root against your own country. Not paying attention, I get. Rooting against = sad life.

Not rooting against, there just isn't anything likable about this squad. Plus our Men's squad is kicking arse right now, watching our B team in the Gold Cup is more enjoyable.

I think it's acceptable to root against them. You say 'root against your own country' but that is exactly what these women do, and worse. So I think the general population is entitled to return the same sentiment.

More or less weird than protesting your own country's national anthem while representing that country?

It's not a contest, both can be weirdos.

The 2015 team was awesome. Stomped Germany in the semis and boatraced Japan in the final. Had a WW2 feel to it.

Plus they had more than 2 attractive women. A-Mo, Carli Lloyd, Christen Press, Julie Johnston (now Ertz).

Pretty much. America needs to ignore it.

Rather than give that narcissistic, sociopathic, mentally ill purple haired crazy person another platform and round of applause to spout her utter nonsense.

But America can be total suckers when it comes to stuff like the Olympics or World Cup...and as Patton said...America loves a winner. So if they win, we're going to be stuck with another Rapinoe media victory lap that has nothing to do with soccer but social agenda.

So, it's better if they crash and burn.

My daughter is a pretty good soccer player and loves Alex Morgan. We are going to San Jose next month to watch their last match before the WC.

I hate the politics as much as anyone, but luckily all my 12 year old daughter sees is great soccer players that she loves. To see her eyes light up when we told her about the trip was priceless.

There are times as a parent you have to try and see things through your children's eyes and appreciate them as they do.

You’re missing a great opportunity to explain to your children what these players are doing wrong and why they’re so hated.

No. But I won't give a watery shite if they lose either.
