Johnny Mac is completely vindicated. He took so much crap for saying Sabrina would be about #600 on the men’s tour. Apparently he was being more than generous.

It drives me nuts that the US Open matches prize money while touting the whole “equal pay” bs despite the men’s matches bringing in higher ticket values and lasting 40% longer. It’s equal pay but it’s definitely not equal effort.
Female tennis players are lucky that their tournaments are intertwined with the men. They get a lot more eyes (and money) than they would on their own.
I once watched Venus Williams play while waiting to see Djokovic play when I was stranded in Miami due to a flight cancellation. If it had been a women only tournament going on at the time, it wouldn’t have crossed my mind to attend.

Eh, women's tennis gets viewers sometimes because of the eye candy.
And while women make up a small minority of the viewership of most sports, I bet that the % is much more equal in tennis. Women like watching other women play sports.

They are both trying to draw attention to trannies playing against girls being a bad thing.

The fact that he was only allowed 1 serve is a bigger deal than the court size difference.
It eliminated his ability to go for monster serves on the first serve.

Back during the OT pickup game era, once 2 women players from those teams (Not Simone or Sylvia but legit players) played with us and I hung with them, and I never even played high school. I always knew men were supremely advanced physically, but doing that made me realize JUST how much difference there is.
I played against Joyce Walker in the Field House. I had to check her because everyone else already paired up. She hit about a 20 feet unguarded shot on the first possession, then when I went out to prevent that, she hit a layup on the second one. Mercifully she laid back after that. She was maybe the best woman player in America that year.

actually surprised she was able to win that many points against him.

The fact that the court had to shrink was all I needed to know. The actual results are irrelevant.

Kyrgios currently isn’t close to top 100
He's just a few years removed from competing with the Big 3. He can't have dropped off that far.

He doesn’t train at all. He is a commentator and podcaster now . If he trained elite for 6 months he could be back to a top 50 player. But he isn’t doing that and I have a hard time seeing him ever do it again
