Notre Dame did everything they could to throw that game didnt they?

Did not need to come to a last second heave.

UConn again humbled in back to back final fours. Feels like LSU final fours.

What a good game.

You know UConn basketball is actually really fun to watch when they are challenged. You can really appreciate Geno as a coach in these games like this. He lost this one but it still was impressive.

Well, I guess that was our annual awesome women's college basketball game. Guess I'll tune in around this time again next year.

Championship game will prob end up being one sided

Ive been listeningto this entire Cubs game (16th inning) on radio, and have watched both womens final four games, which is more womens basketball than I have watched maybe ever. Two very good games

It annoys me that college athletic scholarships are wasted on this politically correct farce of a game. Hell there are plenty of sports women are actually good at which get no scholarships allotted to them, but we let these girls go to school for free because they can sometimes dribble the ball up the court without bouncing it off their foot.

We took a game designed for men's athletic skillset, injected the women into that game with essentially identical rules and then demanded everyone sit by and cheer it on.

I'd say its because it takes a 1 seed or a team in the Final Four to give them such a game... And once a year. This is why you have to appreciate national championships. It only takes one slip up like this not to win even if you were the best team all year.

If you hate women’s basketball so much why participate in a thread about 2 great/entertaining games?

I enjoyed the game and especially the young guard for Notre Dame #5 she a bad bitch.

Plus I like how thick she is. Wood take advantage of those genes.

UCONN has not lost a game in regulation since 2012-13. However, if you can take UCONN to overtime, you are likely to win. They have last won an OT game in 2004, and have lost their last seven. Geno is great at recruiting and winning games by 30, but when it is tight, he doesn't always fare so well. Too bad the 88 points didn't carry over into tonight's game. I am still convinced that a decent HS team could beat most, if not all of the Div-1 teams.

I can’t remember if it was tbird or another poster, but they had a younger brother that scrimmaged against and murdered the NC TAMU WBB every week.

Just some scrubs that played at the rec destroyed the WNC.

Not putting them down, we’re just made differently.

I find the hollow media praise far more annoying than the sport itself.

It's also indicative of a larger problem in our society. EVERYONE loses money over WBB. The schools, the networks, the NBA, even most arenas that host tournament games. Women's college basketball as a whole operates at an annual deficit of tens of millions of dollars and by far the biggest deficit of any collegiate sport. Every numbers crunch reveals this sport should be done away with, yet it isn't. ESPN eats millions annually to keep broadcasting this nonsense. Why?

We all know why

My HS coach had a daughter who was an AA at Baylor in the mid-2000s. She came and scrimmaged with us during the summer and was completely impotent against an average HS varsity team with one player that played D-1 ball (at a small mid-major program).

And it’s their God Given Capitalist right to sink money into a losing product.

ESPN. Not the government. Title IX can GFI.

That is the most tired argument ever with WBB. I mean, why does that matter? They're different sports!
