The league's best player, Napheesa Collier on the league's best team, Minnesota, going on the road to take on Angel Reese, the league's best rebounder, and the Chicago Sky.

Side note: When choosing all-star teams, Collier picked Angel to be on her team for the all-star game a week from Sunday in Indiana.

I'll take Chicago +12.5 in this one.

I certainly appreciate your commitment and enthusiasm for the WNBA. At the same time, I don’t know anyone else that wakes up on a Saturday and is fired up about a noon WNBA game.

I understand. Not everyone is a fan.
Perhaps you prefer some of the other heartpounding topics on this page:

Cards
Bicycles
Women's rugby

ETA: If those two teams don't excite you, perhaps you could catch the 3 p.m. game on CBS between Golden State and Las Vegas.

Two nationally televised WNBA games in one day. That should make this board's head explode.

Another WNBA thread anchored.

Seriously, what are you folks so desperately afraid of? Serious question.

The only exploding heads will be that of the TV execs when they see the shite ratings.

Well then those execs are stupid, because they just signed a huge TV deal.

11-year, $2.2 billion iirc

Here’s the NBA deal for comparison.

11-year media rights agreements with Disney (including ABC and ESPN), NBCUniversal (including NBC and Peacock), and Amazon Prime Video. These deals, which begin with the 2025-26 season, are worth a total of $76 billion.

It’s nothing but a flame war without actual talk about the games. Also, the mods have decided they do not like the WNBA, and will apply rules arbitrarily depending on team/sport/poster.

And yet the SECRant continues to flourish unabated.

ETA: Could you show me where the flaming is in the OP?
