Without the 12 team CFP/auto qualifier that game never gets played

I’ll admit I thought it would be another blowout.
ASU just did not want to go away and them MFers wanted it. Great game.

Glad the CFP committee got us 1 competitive game out of the 6 so far.
I don't mind the auto qualifier for conference champions at all...that needs to happen. I don't like an auto qualifier for G5 teams and they have to come up with a more reliable way to seed teams. 1 Oregon shouldn't be playing Ohio State right now...

The auto qualifier isn't the issue, it's the automatic bye.

We have always known this. All the national champions ever could lose a game on a given day they just didn’t have that game or only had 1. Helluva game.

I feel like people discount that anyone can get blown out, especially if they get behind early. Hell oregon is on the ropes already

You also don't get a 2 loss OSU in without the expanded playoff.
