we'll agree to disagree. He played a part but he gets too much of the credit IMO.

That 06 UF team is really underrated. They were loaded, especially on defense.

But generally guys stay out of the game for more than one year when this happens. His name was linked to the Penn St job before the Ohio St gig opened up. He was getting back in coaching after just one year after being "burnt out".

Quitter!!! When the going gets tough, Urban Meyer quit and hid behind his family.

He did score 2 TDs in the NC game against Ohio State

and we wouldn't have even reached Glendale if not for a couple game saving performances by Tebow. Again, it was a dual effort by both him and Leak....and of course the entire team (minus our fg kicker).

Meyer has stated Penn State was never in the mix and that he only came back because the Ohio State job came up. At this point it's the place he wants to be as a coach.

Bielema is crying like a bitch just because his team has gone to back to back Rose Bowl games and still finished TENTH in the Big 10 in recruiting this year. Only ahead of Minnesota and Indiana. That's pathetic.

Wisconsin has to do it the "white boy" way and Coach B has to make it work, which he usually does. But yeah, he's a bitch.

I didnt read the article but Meyer is a proven dirty bitch in recruiting. Most negative recruiter in history. He fakes heart attacks to sure up recruiting classes also.

I don't think he quit on UF, but he knew he was in trouble. He had too much staff turnover, and put himself in a bind #'s wise. Last year, Muschamp took over a team that was 23 players under the 85 limit. Meyer IMO didn't want to deal with the hole he dug himself. I'm not sure it was because of Bama or LSU, but the above IMO is the real reason why he's no longer at UF. He knew he was going to have to rebuild it back up, and it was going to be a bitch to do in the SEC at this time because the conference is possibly the best it has ever been. Just my take.

So you are defending him and calling him a quitter at the same time?

I just don't think you want to question him while he was at Florida, but are more than happy to hate on him now that he is gone.
