They could very well win the West, in my opinion.

Act like you've won a preseason game before against your biggest rival.

Oh this shite again? I thought it was put to rest just the other night.

but not quite as solid as the Pelicans. But because of the 2 frontline superstars, they are probably the slightly better team overall

In no particular order all of these teams have the ability to be in the top 4:

Clippers
Spurs
OKC
Grizzlies
Golden State

The West may be even more deep than it usually is. I honestly don't see it, but that is just IMO. The W-L records are going to most likely be so close at the end of the season at the top it should be interesting to watch.

ETA: That list doesn't include Houston
oh my

I'd say so according to seeding.I think Portland gets that 5 seed. I like the bench play so far now that they're getting minutes. TRob has defensive and rebounding potential. His offense may never be good but he can run the floor and rebound the heck out of the ball. I think if Portland's bench is actually better, we might sneak into.the 3 seed.

WCF threats: OKC, POR, SA, HOU
Close But No Cigar: LAC, MEM (Not sure if they make playoffs.)
Good Teams But West Stacked: GS, other potential surprise team.

about time you come around to what most have known all year. No surprise that we are now #2 in the power rankings on NBA.com. Only OKC and Miami have a better record vs teams over .500 than Houston.

I wouldn't have said that a month ago. I think.they're starting to play better team ball which has led to more wins. Once the game slows down (playoffs) we'll see if they go back to the Iso Harden ball and akwardly force feed Dwight. If.so, then I can't see them being threats.

I think they hover around at 5. We've shown some weakness in closing out games and that will come back to haunt us against the likes of SA/OKC/LAC unfortunately.
