And cause a major distraction from pissed off fans and media circus that will follow Kaep, on top of him having to learn a new offense with only 3 weeks until the playoffs start and trying to hang onto a 1st round bye. Or they can play Nick Foles who is already on the roster, is as good as Kaepernick, already knows the offense, and won't bring the media distraction.

If they don't, I think it is confirmed the ONLY reason they didn't is because the organization is racist. That's really the only "logical" explanation. Why wouldn't a Super Bowl contender who is having a great season want to sign a guy who wasn't good enough to play for anyone BEFORE he began protesting a "problem" that largely doesn't exist and hasn't played in a NFL game in over a year?

Why would Kaepernick want to sign? The instant he does, he becomes irrelevant. Just another QB.
