That long flat wind up is going to be trouble when NFL edge rushers start turning the corner

He’s already having trouble with Oregon’s edge rushers

You can’t just change how you throw

He won’t do much in the NFL either way.

you can change your footwork. He won't be able to continue to throw off his back foot like he does which contributes to his slow release of the football

From what I have seen, he is third round or lower.

I'd take Nuss over him right now.

His footwork is his biggest issue honestly as another poster pointed out. If the guy would just step into his throws, he’d be even scarier but Jarrett Lee’s almost every throw.

He’s backing up on every throw.

He reminds me of Tebow with that long wind up.

Dude won’t make it in the NFL.

Absolutely.

Justin Herbert is 6'6" and gets way too many passes batted down than he should as one of the tallest QB's in the league because of his throwing motion.

Penix is shorter and has a worse motion, he'll get eaten alive in the NFL.
