Ted Ginn at 10th overall comes to mind.

Lots of speed, good kick returner, not worth a first round pick because he was incapable of running routes other than a fly. This was coming off a leg injury (broken foot?) in the title game against Florida, too.

I still think the Rams trading up to take Tavon Austin at #8 was a ridiculous reach for a gadget WR.

In the weeks leading up to that draft, his agent was doing work. We've all seen busts, but Smith had no reason to go in the 1st.

after 4 seasons with Bengals he never caught on with another NFL team, tried NFL Europe, then went to the Canadian League as a backup. Was cut after going 10/22 100 yards 3 picks in two games when the starter was hurt.

So he pulled a Tebow and tried baseball, released after batting .176 did have 4 homeruns.

Then played for "God's House" a flag football team, he is wide receiver. That's right he isn't even the starting quarterback on his religious flag football team.

Height just doesnt matter to me. If that wasnt a factor, Quinnen Williams, Nick Bosa and all these other guys wouldnt even be mentioned.

I want Arizona to pass on Kyler Murray just to mess up everyone’s mock drafts and make the talking heads question all the teams passing on him until someone like the Chargers pick him.

Ted Ginn went 9th, but had a better career than the player picked at #8 Jamal Anderson & the player picked at #10 Amobi Okoye.

The Wrs that went after Ginn in the first round were-

Dwayne Bowe, Robert Meachem, Craig "Buster"Davis, and Ginn's buckeye teammate Anthony Gonzalez.

Judging by all of your other “mark it down” posts, Murray will end up being a hall of famer

Dan McGwire and Akili Smith were bigger reaches. Kyler at least was an All American and Heisman winner

Kyler has the arm and runners ability

It shouldn’t be an indictment of him, but going from the best protection in a league that doesn’t play defense to the worst protection in the NFL is going to be rough for Murray.
