He's won 4 of his last 8, is in contention for another today, and was within striking distance at the Masters. He's on a roll only seen by few others before him.

If he stays healthy, will he end his career with 18 or more majors?

[I personally believe he'll end with up 12 overall.]

It’s possible sure.

Every time the fanbase hypes a hot golfer just show them what Rory and Spieth have done the last few years.

Maybe Koepka never loses it and never gets hurt and is just a machine for the rest of his career and blows that record away.

Or maybe he loses to Woodland today and can’t compete at the top of the leaderboard consistently for the next 5 years.

No. I think he’ll get to 6 or 7 though, which will be more than Rory, Spieth, DJ, etc end up with.

I don’t think people in general understand how much greater Jack and Tiger were than everybody else. Winning 7 majors would make you a top 10 player of all time....Tiger and Jack are more than twice as good as that. It’s mind boggling

Courses are tougher and competition deeper than in Jack’s era. It will be very difficult for anyone to beat his record in the foreseeable future.

If any of this group will get close it’ll be Brooks, in my opinion. He seems to be driven to win. Most of these guys check out once they get that first $20mm and develop other interests and I don’t blame them. It takes a special kind of psycho to keep working hard when you’ve already made generational wealth

Yeah. I mean this is the third year now that he has showed out at golf’s toughest contest. He’s got a long way to go today to win, but he’s the best one, as it stands, to finish runner up

Peak Rory was definitely better than Koepka. Set a scoring record at the US Open at age 22, won the PGA Championship by a record breaking margin at age 23 and then won two more majors shortly after that. He hasn’t won a major since. It just shows you how fickle golf is and really puts Tiger’s greatness in perspective. Golf is an impossibly difficult sports to dominate yet he made it look easy for over a decade. We’ll see another Jordan/Gretzky/Federer/Bolt/Phelps before we ever see another golfer as good as Tiger.

No, not even close. He will have a 2 maybe three run and then stop. I agree, he will get 6-8 though.

What will be his place in history if he has 19 majors and ~40 total wins?

Then he’ll be the record holder for most majors. It still would be debatable whether he’s the best of all time though.

Not possible, even for someone as good as him.

Tiger and Jack are head and shoulders above everyone else.
