Not true. Or rather they haven’t spent on athletics till very recently

Minn’s AD has a comparable revenue to USC and donations have picked up with Fleck. That’s only going to increase if he keeps winning.

USC is still a better, more high profile job, but stop selling Minn short. They have the pieces to be a perennial contender in the Big 10 with the right coach.

USC AD 2018 revenue - $116.9m

Minn AD 2018 revenue - $124.8m

Minnesota’s AD actually brings in more money than Clemson. Thanks for playing, though. Sorry you’re so worried Wiscy is going to end up PJ Fleck’s bitch in the Big 10 west.

Yes, I'm a badger fan, but still legit curious why that would be "good for college football". People say that all the time but rarely explain why.

Because people tire of the same cast of characters at the top. Seeing schools that had great traditions of winning years and years ago like Georgia, Minnesota, Army, etc climb the mountain back up generates more interest.

It’s a big state school, in the heart of a big city, nice campus, plenty of resources, in an average division, etc.
He should start teaching the Somalian Muslims football. Instant pipeline.

Awesome.

Do you know what a link is? Cause posting numbers doesn’t change anything.

What part of link didn’t you understand?

That’s pretty much wrong. People like when true traditional powers are good.

People like excellence.

You have some empirical data to support this or is just all feels?

Thanks. But the link doesn’t show data. Or rather, when I type in Usc and Los Angeles i get Usc ans a drop down. But I don’t see where im suppose to see the data.

I’m not doubting you. I just can’t see where on my phone.

I’m not even doubting his numbers.

Edit: when I lived in Florida I saw the levels that the gators got. Insane alum support. That was back during SS. Things my have changed, but I doubt it.

Curious where the B1G Network dollars come in. Over 50 million per school.

Certainly helps all schools.

It’s like he ignores the fact that TCF is the second smallest in the west.

Perennial contender: I can’t see them perennially contending. Fitz will be back. Iowa is always solid. We aren’t going anywhere. And it appears Lovie may be turning things around. Who knows with Nebby.

I’m not even discussing the East

If he said that they could win the west 1 out of 5 years that might be feasible.

The average college football fan but has no clue Minnesota was good 70 years ago and today's recruits don't care. Which is why the "good for college football" claim is dumb. If you're gonna say it for Minnesota you can say it for any random arse program and it's still stupid to say.

O should donate about 30% of his impending raise to Joe Burrow and another 30% to Urban Meyer (for allowing us to get Joe Burrow)

without Burrow, O gets fired after we go 5-7 or 6-6 last year with Justin McMillan running Ensminger's offense
