Korver is a 3 point specialist who comes off the bench. This is the 1st year in like 10 years he actually started some games.

In no world is he "pretty damn good". He's an nba role player

he's gonna average 10 points a game over a 15 year nba career. that's pretty damn good IYAM. if mcdermott can do that, then that's a successful career for sure. that's what im saying.

10ppg and 42% from 3 on his career...in the National Basketball Association

ok maybe not "pretty damn good" by YOUR standards but I'd say a pretty successful career.

Any one comparing him to Morrison is outing themselves as someone who has never watched him play. He's not a guy who runs off screens to get open looks but is too slow for it to work in the NBA, he's not a guy who makes a bunch of transition 3s. McDermott is a great 1 on 1 scorer who gets the majority of his point in the post and in the half court, the 3 point range is just a bonus.

Even by your standards this is bad

He's pretty good at something if he's been in the league for 10 years.

He's pretty damn good at being a 3 point specialist off of the bench.

You can call him a pretty damn good player if you want. It's all good

Korver and Anderson are poor comparisons. He fits more of a Matt Harpring/Wally Sczerbiak(edited) role

i will. this argument is fricking stupid. if you were watching basketball with your friends and just said "kyle korver is pretty good," all of them would just nod and go yeah he is. and that would be the end of the discussion. because if they argued with you over the definition of pretty good, you would tell them to frick off for being douches.

McDermott is a career 45% 3pt shooter through 3 years of college.

He's shot 48% from 3 the last 2 years combined.

A career 56% FG shooter from the floor over the same period.

We are talking efficiency that trumps anyone mentioned in this thread thus far, BY far.

neither would anyone else. but that's mainly because he isnt good.

you just tried to use someone as an example that kyle korver has scored like 3700 more points than in his career. roger mason cant hold kyle korver's dick.

Reggie Evans has been a top 500 basketball player in the world for the last 10 years. Is he not "pretty good" at basketball?
