Maybe it’s too dangerous to play with Covid all around.

Are the yahoos so powerful they will insist on playing and spread the disease?

What exactly do you think all these college kids will be doing when they’re not playing football?

It isn't dangerous for 99.5% of the population.

There was a story out of Orlando a few weeks ago where a guy in his mid 20s died from the virus. A local news station started digging in and found out that the guy had the virus and died in a motorcycle accident. The medical examiner claimed that the virus could have caused his accident so they counted him as a virus death.

I have a feeling shite like this is happening everywhere. I believe the people with no preexisting conditions who contract the virus and die as a direct result is a very minute number, as in less than .01% of coronavirus deaths.

19 year olds in peak physical condition aren’t in the high risk group for Coronavirus but what do I know.

these deaths are the ones that are closer to 1% of Corona deaths. if you believe otherwise go talk to a friend/family member that works in a hospital

I have talked to several. They all think the response to the virus has been a joke. We've gone far, far too overboard.

Yeah, they should stop testing asymptomatic people.

and they told you that actual corona deaths are close to 0.01% of reported deaths caused by the virus?

No. That's my own interpretation. I also think it is disingenuous to consider someone a covid death if they were already on death's door anyways and the virus just sped up the process.

I'm talking about perfectly healthy people with no preexisting conditions who get the virus and die as a direct result. I believe that is a miniscule number.

He said perfectly healthy young people were 0.01% of deaths.

You asked the question without listing The mistakes... this event was going to happen, so let’s see if the protocols are used to work the problem instead of sky screaming negativity

I don't see how it's going to work without sequestering players in areas without the virus.

The NBA has the bubble and Aussie Rules has done a good job of moving teams around the country to areas that aren't experiencing an outbreak.

Otherwise you are going to have players test positive and games cancelled.

I doubt it’s the baseball game spreading disease in Miami.

You can get Mono and Gonnarea just walking down a dorm room hall.

If they're not going to totally shutdown Universities, might as well play football.
