LSU's defensive talent was a nightmare in open space. They gang tackled and attacked like a pack of savage, canine beasts

Did you even watch the dynasty era USC teams?

The 2011 LSU and Alabama defences were very fun to watch.

DW4 at qb. Wayne train gallman at rb along with true freshman Feaster. Stud o line anchored by beast Mitch Hyatt at left tackle. Mike Williams, Artavis Scott and Deon Cain at wide out. And then next years Mackey award winner Jordan Legget. Try to stop it

Also 2014 starting RB Adam Choice returning from a redshirt season (recovered from an ACL injury). The coaches say he looks awesome. Clemson is very deep offensively.

FSU returns 11 offensive starters and they have Clemson at home.

Your Clemson offense couldn't outscore a Jake Coker-led Alabama offense.

let's remember most explosive doesn't always equal best... who cares if you average 45 a game if you can't run out the clock

Nebraska averaged 52 points and 400 rushing yards per game in 95.

No, they won't. While they will have one of the best O's in the country, Baylor will average more yards per game and more points per game this season. Plus, Dabo usually pulls the starters early and plays a lot of backups once Clemson gets a 3 score game. I wouldn't expect Watson to play many 4th Q games this rear.

Using a true freshman to bolster your argument of being the best in history is a poor choice.

They already had Watkins, Hopkins, and Bryant on one team and it wasn't the most explosive offense ever. I don't see these guys being better.

Clemson will be very good and the offense will be difficult as hell to stop, but let's not act like that has anything to do with Adam Choice coming back.

He is a very good RB. My thought was fresh legs throughout the game between Watson, Gallman, Choice and Feaster.

I liked watching LSU's better. HB was very fun to watch. I occasionally watch the several LSU games from that season on Youtube

Absolutely! Oh wait, I read that wrong. I thought it said most expensive.

You mean Oregon with darron Thomas at qb? Smh

Actually, the similarities are kind of eerie. Undefeated team with super powerful offense, loses natl title game to a team from Alabama despite crazy offensive production...sound familiar?

And you're pretty dismissive of a team that put up gaudy numbers while Thomas was at the helm. I mean, the kid won a ton of football games as a starter and there was never really a shortage of points.

Emphasis on 95. There were only 3 other teams averaging over 40 points that season. These days there are like 10 teams averaging 40 points
