Some truth, but they loved Frost so much that he would have gotten a huge extension if he could have pulled off a single 8-4 season. You have to respect the patience they showed.

I think they become a middling to upper B1G program like Wisconsin, Iowa, Michigan State.

If Wisconsin and Iowa can get 10 win seasons in the same part of the country as Nebraska, there is zero reason Nebraska can't do the same. NIL might ironically be the savior of Nebraska. Cable TV hurt Nebraska when a kid from California could play on tv without moving halfway across the country. NIL might be the reason a kid from California is now willing to move to Lincoln.

I've been to Ann Arbor and Columbus. Never Lincoln. Ann Arbor is a small college town. I can almost guarantee Columbus is "cooler" than Lincoln Nebraska.

Actually, Lincoln is a pretty cool city.

I don't like Nebraska but a lot of you are throwing up reasons why they'll never be good again that are off base.

Lincoln is a solid town. If you are a Husker football player there you are treated great. If you win, you're treated like gods. They want to win and have tons of resources they put into winning. Recruiting grounds are not terrible with access to players from the Plains and Midwest states that do still care about football. Add in some recruits from the coasts that want a change in life, maybe to get away from urban strife, and you can recruit there. Hell, Frost had top 25 recruiting classes, recruiting is not the issue.

The issue was 100% Frost was not a solid coach that built a solid culture.

The biggest delusion in the fanbase is the failure to recognize that Frost was not a good head coach

No. The biggest delusion in the fan base is thinking Nebraska will ever be relevant again.
I like Nebraska but they are done.

They have a rabid fanbase that will pour a shite ton of money into the program including NIL deals. Just this past season they pulled one of the best transfer classes with a dead man walking at head coach.
