anyway thought I could have a reasonable discussion but should have figured what the responses would be

I watch plenty baseball I'm just saying perfection is throwing 27 pitches and striking out all 27

Yeah I mistyped , just saying throwing only strikes all game to all batters, 81 strikes?

so throwing 81 pitches to get 27 outs is perfect to you, but throwing 27 pitches isnt?

Beaux
It's not. They have the exact same result. Getting all 27 batters and allowing 0 hits and 0 errors is perfection. It doesn't matter if they're strikeouts, groundouts, flyouts. It's all the same.

Wouldn't a perfect game striking out every batter you face , all 27?
It's not bowling, brah.
And bowlers are lucky. They only need 12 strikes in a row.
How about we go even more perfect than 27 strikeouts?
One pitch per batter. 27 pitches total for the entire game. And the ball can NOT leave the infield.

So 81 straight wiffs in a row?
Nice.
I guess maybe if God were on the mound.
