The truth is that Lebron James was unfairly criticized for this.
Lebron is the guy they all work for. He is the final say so. If he ok's it, they do it. No matter how long you ignore that and try to shift blame onto his handlers. The truth is the truth. All Lebron had to say was "NO, I don't want to do it that way. I want to keep it to a small press conference or a twitter announcement." Similar to what players do when they are introduced by their new teams, or announcing retirements.

I did before I replied. Again, who do those guys work for? Lebron. Lebron only works for the Miami heat and his sponsors.

I pretty much hate all star NBA players because they are all egotistical assholes

You hate what makes the NBA marketable?

There are a few that aren't. I'm hoping Monty can keep AD from dark side

NBA players being full of themselves makes the league marketable?
I watch the game because it's fun to watch two teams compete, not because of one player. That's why I don't give a shite about LeBron

Explain your argument. No one is saying it was LeBron's idea to do it. But he still did it. So I'm confused.

Well what do you think happens when you are paid big money to do something you've always dreamed of, and you are among the best at what you do?

NFL and MLB get paid a shite ton too and they are no where near as bad as the NBA

1) He trusted his advisors.
2) The outrage over the event far outweighs the event itself.
That's about it.
Too bad you can't think for yourself.
