This doesn't really make any sense.

People that act like Lebron doesn't show up in big spots regularly.

Of course he does, but he also comes up like he did at the end of regulation in game 6 quite a bit as well. But, I agree, there are many that ignore his big moments and only see his gaffs.

So no credit for digging them out of a 10 point hole in the 4th?

I didn't like this either. But, it wasn't James' idea. He was 25 years old and his manager basically came to him said "we are doing this".

Not an excuse. Nobody held a gun to his head. Like you said, he was 25.

There is no way he could have known the backlash that would come of this. IMO, he didn't understand that the people asking him to do this didn't have Lebron James best interest at heart. His manager should be vilified more then anyone IMO.

He whines when he does not get the call and also flops, but so do a lot of players. He is an easy hate target because of his success and how he handled "the decision."

Ok the decision was stooopid i agree totally on that. And i admit i was a hater too before he came to miami and started playing with my favorite player D.Wade. It wasn't until then i really got a chance to watch him on a regular basis and since i watched every heat game that was on tv i got to see why he is so great. I don't think hes jordan and i don't think hes as good as the media portrays him to be but hes damn good and will go down as one of the top players ever. The Top i don't think so, IMO he is not a closer and that is what separates him and Jordan. He abouut blew game 6 on the last couple possessions. I hope the heat finish and win this game tonight.

I hated Jordan back in the day and used to pull for the teams playing him. Same thing going on here.

I hated Magic Johnson as a kid because i grew up in a house of Celtics fans. I grew up and learned to appreciate how good he was. Again I know Lebron is the best active player on the planet. He is not the GOAT. Could be at the end of his career, but IMO is light years away from 6 rings and 6 finals mvp's and numerous other accolaids.

Is it all because of "the decision"

Yes.

I enjoyed the hell out of the Mavs making his arse quit in 2011. He needed to be humbled IMO.

I think he's much more likable now. I still pull for any team playing Miami, mostly because A.) I usually pull for the underdog B.)I like seeing the best player in the world tested C.) I think Dwayne Wade is a huge a-hole.

he got more production from one of those Cavs teams than he is getting from the current team he plays on .

He would have to be mentally retarded to not see how this could come back to bite him in the arse. Either that or he is so vain, he cannot imagine anyone not loving whatever he does.

This move was an admission that he needed help.

Jordan had a Top 50 player drafted to his team. LeBron had Daniel Gibson.

Kobe was about to demand a trade until the LAL were able to swing a deal that got them Gasol. Plus he was lucky enough to be drafted on to a team with the best C of his generation.
