Why don't the Jets trade Favre to Vikings now?

Why didn't brett just work a deal with tampa or jets or any team for that matter and have them trade for him then trade him to the vikings

That would be awesome, obviously isn't going to happen, but I would love to see the Packers' reaction to that.

The Jets would have to give 3 first round draft picks to the Packers if they did that.

obviously the Packers specifically did not want this to happen therefore placing the clause in the Favre trade to the Jets where if he was traded by the Jets back to the Vikings the Jets would owe the Packers like 3 first round picks or something rediculous

That would be awesome. Trade him to a team that doesn't like Green Bay and let THEM trade him to the Vikings.
