It's for stupid threads like these that I hope Oregon and Alabama get to play in the MNC game this year so it can for once actually be decided on the field.

This is the most retarded argument. Was Pete Carroll supposed to go to every voter and put a gun to his and say VOTE FOR ME!!!!!11!!!1

Maybe this has been said...But it could be that many players shine given the relatively weak conference schedule that USC was playing. They look great and put up big numbers throughout the season but what do they do when they come up against strong comp. every weekend....?
Being here in charlotte D. Jarrett has just been a mystery...3+ YEARS...3 STARTS, 1 td, 35 catches..granted in a run oriented offense but still...

Of course if they all panned out, then there would be a thread about why PC did not win 5 NC's with the NFL talent he bought

Bama would beat the everliving frick out of Oregon. Oregon's defense is garbage.

I will let you know...Carolina took Lafell this year and he immediately moved ahead of Jarrett who has been here 3+ yrs. Of course 6th rounder David Gettis did also...

I know you're busy entertaining yourself with pseudo-logical connections, but could you figure out what "yours truly" means when you get a chance?

So is he the only good WR USC had or are you purposely forgetting about Steve Smith?

So with your logic then LSU was playing weak schedules as well, since Jamarcus, Tyson Jackson and Glenn Dorsey have sucked as well

Glenn Dorsey has been stuffing the run this year. He hardly sucks.

The Chiefs D looks legit. If two of their 3-4 ends sucked they'd be getting destroyed.

I think the problem with USC is that there's so much talent there that a poor player could probably coast and never be spotted. The Niners drafted Chilo Rachel from a fabled O-line that never gave up a sack, well, he sure gives up sacks in the pros. I think Leinart was definitely made to look good by all the talent around him (minus Rachel I guess lol), Bush was simply flat out overhyped and is now underrated as a result.

Maybe coaching had something to do with it too though, look at Mike Williams now, he's really turned shite around, maybe he just needed a big daddy type coach (although he did have Mooch who seems as much of a players coach as anyone).

9 tackles and 0.5 in sacks is definitley tearing up the league funny when its an LSU player that those are good stats

I was more thinking of Dorsey tbh. He's a 3-4 end, you don't go on tackles and sacks to see how good they are.
