I don't use roids. I do follow things like powerlifting and strongman where it's common.
A guy like Giannis, it's not PED's. He's 6'11 with a 7'3 wingspan and the speed of a guard. There weren't guys in the 90's with that length and athleticism.
I think people overrate potential PED use in the NBA. LeBron was 6'8, 235 when he entered the league at 18. Kawhi has a 7'3 wingspan and 11 inch hands. That stuff is freaky, and not from PED's.
