Why do so many of their fans care about their haters? Knock yourself out loving them. Why do you care if we hate them?
It's not suddenly. It has been building. Year after year.
In general terms the dislike is so extensive now as a result of the times we live in. Social media, 24 news cycle, podcasts, saturation with all the tv commercials. Can't escape the BS aspect.
Back in the day I might hate a team/QB for beating up on my team on the field but I could escape them pretty easily after the games. More recently, I hated the Patriots but don't recall BB and Brady doing TV commercials, podcasts and social media and being in our faces all of the time.
Can't escape this crap now.
While watching games and enduring the frustration of the Chiefs getting favorable calls and Mahomes taking advantage of the QB safety rules the game cuts away for commercial and there is coach and Kermit talking Bundlerooski and nuggies. Only to be followed by the next commercial with Kermit selling you a phone plan or a shampoo followed by a Kelce selling you some soup. Soon you are hoping for a horrible Gronk commercial just for some Chiefs relief.
Back to the game and the camera cuts away DURING the action to show Swift/Mom/Kermit's attention whore wife or all three. Then have to hear the announcers talk about all of them ad nauseum. Only to go back to the frustrating calls on the field.
Easy to see how the hate is generated.

There are more post made about Taylor than she’s actually shown during the games. Funny how I don’t see anyone complaining about McConaughey being shown on Texas’ sideline.
And Kelce is the All time postseason leader in receptions and 100 yard games, and second in TD’s and yards. But he barely contributes???

It’s because of Taylor Swift. She started coming to the games and then people got it in their heads that the games were rigged. For some reason, people think the NFL needs her there so people will watch the Super Bowl. Like people didn’t watch before.

I don’t remember people hating on Brady and the Patriots THIS much, and they received WAY more carries by the Refs, especially the PI bailouts (not to mention the Rams PI no-call that prevented Brees from beating the shite out of the Patriots in the Superbowl that year) The hate just seems way over the top.
You're not wrong but the Pats are currently in check, they are becoming a distant memory. The Chiefs and their fans are the target of anger and envy from every NFL fan base.
