I think most people dislike him for being successful against their favorite team and they latch onto the antics as support for their dislike of him.
there are many who have been way more successful against people's favorite teams that don't generate that hate. y'all really reaching hard for some of these reasonings

So you're telling me the dabs and shite after every play don't aggravate the hell out of you? It's one thing to be confident and celebrate. What he does is at a completely different level

A lot of what he does I think is done with a purpose. His teammates clearly feed off of his confidence.

Sure other leaders in the past have motivated teammates differently. This is the way he does it.

Above all, the game is supposed to be fun.

He's the epitome of a 21st century narcissist. When asked by Strahan about his "cockiness", he said he works too hard not to "show his emotion".

He played for auburn and now the panthers. This board is literally full of rivals/division opponents of those teams. It's as simple as that.

No it's not. Saints fans don't really care about the Panthers that much. Someone brought up Julio Jones earlier. I know he's a WR so it's not the same exact thing, but you never hear anything about him on here.

He's a showboat and hot dog with a "me first" attitude. I don't care how many fricking footballs he hands out he is still a narcissistic attention whore.

Oh yeah and the whole thing about his dad pimping him out to the highest bidder. Maybe it's that...

A lot of the greats, probably most, are narcissistic. Not going to stop me from enjoying the performance.

It's either the showboating he does after every TD or first down he picks up or the way he wears that towel on his head.

Fair point

But it's a board that is mostly Louisiana residents

I personally think Cam is a breath of fresh air compared to the standard successful NFL QB

Rationalize much? It's OK because he's your guy. I realize the game has passed me by, but I prefer humility or narcissism and arrogance.

The primary reason (above).

But the haters will definitely chime in with the claim that "one of their best friends is black".

Like someone else said, if someone were to have a problem with black people dominating a sport, how would they like sports?

Jordan, Shaq, Kobe, Brady, Lebron, etc., etc., etc. are narcissistic. If you eliminate enjoying narcissist, in sports or other areas of entertainment, you're going to miss enjoying some great performances.
