Yeah, it was a lot of shitty basketball but it was a really cool novelty event.

Remember Jarrell Martin’s LSU debut spraining his ankle at umass 30 seconds into the game at like 9am lol

They probably dont even have the manpower to do it anymore after they fired a massive chunk of the behind the scenes people in a cost cutting move dictated by Disney investors.

They should have had ULM vs Tech at like 2:30 am after the bars closed

Would have been epic

Bus the students from the bars to the game and get rocking

Yes I do. And I remember being fired up for LSU to start the season against UMass on ESPN.

That was the season they made that big emphasis on hand checking so they called like 100 fouls in that game to open the season. Was horrible.

SCUBA,

I’m guessing shitty product outweighed novelty when it came to ratings.

cause they are pussies, and wouldn't be able to have their horrible, shite shows on all morning and afternoon.

Where would the 8 people who watch in the early afternoon, get their cuck comments from kellerman?

Early season college basketball refereeing is always AWFUL

there’s always some gay arse minor thing they’re trying to stress

A couple years ago was the sticking out the leg while shooting, last year was the taunting except they kept calling it on us all year lol

Because someone finally came to their senses and decided that a college basketball game at 7am on a Wednesday is a stupid idea from a logistical standpoint for everyone involved?

Yeah, it was somewhat cool to wake up and start my day at 7 with a little Vermont vs. Manhattan hoops on the tube.

But I can only imagine how difficult that had to be for the players, fans, support staff, arena managers, parking attendants, concession workers, janitors, cheerleaders, band, and anyone else I left off to show up at 5am or before to work the event.

Not to mention the disruption it probably caused to the campus in general on a work day.

Those teams probably had to practice at 6am for a week just to get their body ready. I just thought the whole thing was a lot of trouble for a lot of people.

It's been a few years since they did it right? I also long for the days of watching Chaminade at 3am for no other reason than I could.

Eta: looks like FS1 is giving us who work from home Nova at 330cst tomorrow afternoon at least.

Probably should go to a 12 hour format starting on the east coast and go westward. From 12pm-12am
