with his hand up and back to the basket on them little dudes? its pretty maddening to watch. all he needs is the easiest little half hook shot to go with his other ability, he has done great great and he is 22 and he is maybe on the verge of a title. but for him to REALLY go next level he should be able to go down to the block and dominate...its almost like he doesnt even know how to do it then he settles for the ball way outside and tries to get to the block by dribbilng....

He's too tall and lanky, so it takes longer than it should to post up.

I think he can still get pushed around pretty easily even at 7'4

he is strong enough to get post postion and with those long arms....my god he should sccore 40 any time he wants to

Its not all about strength. Posting up and making a quick move to the basket is a skill. Shaq was great at it. Wemby is too slow at it right now.

I think it’s more about him not knowing how to use his length and play strength as leverage. Like someone else said it’s more of a skill. Playing with your back to the basket takes time to learn. MJ and Kobe and even Dirk didn’t really get elite at it until they were closer to 30.
Shaq was an outlier and that was most of his game so he developed and honed that skill faster than most. Wemby hasn’t had to but in order to fully unlock his potential he needs to be in the lab every summer with Garnett

He's a stick? How do you propose him getting near enough the basket to post up?

He needs to do the sky hook

It irritates the shite out of me when he gets outrebounded when the ball bounces to his side of the basket. Dude barely has to jump to get every board he has position on, but he pussy-foots around or bails early to get back.

I’m not so sure about that . He needs hit weight room.

30 point lead would have been a good time for wemby to ice a game on the low post instead of jacking 3s up 30.
