I'm saying Manning at this moment but when Mahomes is done he'll be thought of as better he's already got more SB's.

playoff record
Mahomes is 17-4 .810
Manning 14-13 .519

We'll see how Mahomes ends up but he's already been far better in the playoffs where it really counts.

Brady did beat Mahomes in the playoffs twice, including a year he won NFL MVP in

so how is Peyton Manning a better QB than Mahomes?

I don't see mahomes taking over the game mentally like Peyton did in his 30s. Once his athleticism fades he's gonna be pretty mid. Hell he's been middle of the league in passer rating the past 3 years already

Alright. So longevity is your argument. I know as much as you do. So we’ll have to wait and see.

So far through their careers, it’s Mahomes.

Manning. How much of Mahome's success is because of Andy Reid?

Time machine....that's what people "whispered" some said, about McNabb.

I've got Manning around 4th and Mahomes around 7th in the Super Bowl era. If Mahomes' career ended today, Manning would have the argument for better career. In five years I expect Mahomes to be top 3.

But if the question is, "Who do you want starting at QB for your dream team"? It's Mahomes all day. He has no weaknesses and is the closest thing to a "natural" at the position since John Elway. Rodgers too. They make it look easier than the rest.

I agree, but the point is, Mahomes is beating the best competition in his era, and Peyton didn’t.

The chiefs have had a top 10 defense 6 out of Mahomes 7 seasons. Your argument is dumb.

I’m taking Mahomes. His game is more dynamic if you include his running ability. In addition I think Manning has played with better groups of offensive weapons than Mahomes.

It's not wrong. Mahomes had been fading until this year. A lot of that is lack of weapons, but his statement is not wrong

Payton Manning is the king of hospital balls, and the fact he couldn’t deal with prime Brady, but his little brother could on the biggest stage… well, I rest my case.

Little known fact:

Tom Brady never won a super bowl without a top 10 defense. No doubt he was a baller and still had to deliver his end to win all those super bowls.

On the other side, Peyton Manning had one, the 2007 team.

Also, I have no idea how Patrick Mahommes has a freaking belly. He allegedly works out all the time and yet he looks like your average plant baw coming off a 2am shift when you saw him on that netflix show. probably why he'll flame out earlier than Brady or Manning. Really seems to me all the working out is a show and he isnt as fastidious about taking care of himself as he would like you to believe.

This isn't even a conversation, it's Peyton Manning.

Eli and Patrick would be a better conversation. And Eli still has the edge there.

We can bust out the advanced stats too. But the trend is clear.
As already mentioned, some of it can be attributed to lack of weapons.

They are trending up this year. Pretty sure he is content with taking the Tom Brady path of throwing it 30-35 times a game and letting the defense do work.
