Who would've had the better career with NO major injuries: Bo Jackson or Ken Griffey Jr.

Let me state a few things I think are obvious before I start
1. Ken Griffey Jr. was obviously the better baseball player
2. Injuries impacted Bo Jackson's career more than Ken Griffey Jr. (partially because of the sport he played)
3. Ken Griffey Jr. wound up with a better athletic career than Bo Jackson
With that out of the way, who's body of work would have gone down as greater if neither had faced significant injury that limited their careers? Griffey very well may have hit 800 homeruns but what about Bo? If Bo stays healthy, remains an elite RB in the NFL until his mid 30's, retires to play baseball full time... Did he have a shot at 10,000 total yards from scrimmage AND 500 homeruns?
Which feat would've been more impressive? Who would have gone down as the better pro?

Jr. would be in the conversation with Bonds for best ever player in baseball right now.

No
I’ll say Griffey

Definitely Griffey. Bo never would have been able to reach his full potential as a running back as long as he was splitting time playing baseball.

Bo was a freak. Even if he would have concentrated heavier on baseball in the middle of his prime, he would still go down as an elite RB. The fact that he was able to play both professionally, and at a high level is borderline insane

If Bo didn't join the Raiders half-way through the season every year.
It's not just about healthy. What if Bo just concentrated on football from the get go? I mean the dude would just show up on a Sunday after baseball and dominate. What if he actually went to training camp every year and put all his energy into football? Scary. Bo is maybe the best athlete of all-time.

So what does that mean with Brian Jordan? He was in the All Star game and Pro Bowl.
Sanders was every bit the athlete Jackson was as well.

As a kid who played all sports I loved both of these guys. Hard choice for me.

I don't know how much debate there is. Huge, fast, strong, and really good at two professional sports. Deion and Brian Jordan played both, but neither compare to Bo physically in my opinion. Deion has ridiculous speed, but so did Bo and he was an of as well.

Brian Jordan was probably the best at the 2 sport thing... meaning equally balanced to playing football and baseball. He didn’t get the marketing to support his abilities
Deion was more hype then good at baseball
Bo was a much better at football and above average at baseball

His highest percentage ever of HOF votes puts him squarely in that conversation. He was a better overall player than Bonds. Bonds was the greatest hitter in my lifetime.
Plus him being in the All Century team while being active puts him in that conversation

I mean, the question at the time was, Griffey or Bonds? Who do you start your team with?
Bo could have wound up with 7-8000 rushing yards and 400 HRs if he had an injury-free career.

The Kid was given start the team love in the 90’s more so than Bonds
It went from in order of years what I can remember nationally.
Canseco
Griffey
ARod
Bonds
When Canseco went 40/40 people went bonkers

Yeah, Canseco was in the debate for a few years, as well.

Well its an unfair question.. BO IS the greatest athlete of ALL TIME... However its a shame he got dealt a bad hand with his hip injury... I doubt he could have hit 500 HR's in the MLB... IMO Griffey Jr. would have blown Bonds off the map if he would have been able to stay healthy... PLUS.. You NEVER heard of A sniff of Griff doing any kind of roids...................

My pick would’ve been Rickey

Yes Rickey in the late 70’s to mid 80’s had it all But you’re going to make a fool of yourself as usual.
Griffey was so injury prone
Bonds was great
Rickey hit leadoff stole bases (all time leader) hit for power (most all time leadoff homers) and he played a position that allowed him to play for multiple decades
