Who would win this series???

A great boys high school basketball team or the UCONN women basketball team??
In a best of 7 series using women's college rules.
Sitting at the airport bored and had this debate with a guy around me.
I say the great boys high school basketball team in 6 games. They would be too athletic, long, quick, and strong for the UCONN women. Geno is a great coach and all, but he would lose this series.

I would take UConn, unless were dealing with some AAU team, but I'd take a terrible men's college team in a sweep over them
I'd take an accumulation of top high school talent over them as well

This makes me think of the time the US U-17 men's team beat the US women's national team in soccer 8-2. Obviously, the circumstances are quite different, but I think the high school boys team wins.

I watched UNO's baseball team crush UNO's women's basketball , three days later UNO's women beat a top 5 LA Tech team on the same court.

I think you're underestimating the athleticism of the boys on a prep school team. Those guys are all college players eventually. They would throttle the girls team. Girls play fundamental ball, but strength and athleticism is nowhere near the level.

A great high school team (state championship or nationally ranked) would not only sweep UConn, they would sweep the women's All American team. Most games would likely be 20+ point margins. The only exception would be if the women had an incredible 3 point barrage in one of the games.

It's lose-lose for the women.
If they play with a men's ball, the girls won't make anything.
If they play with a women's ball, well then it's just like Nerf for the boys.
Boys would win pretty comfortably.
