Because West Africans generally dominate African soccer because skill sets of short area burst and muscle mass and body control, matter more than long distance endurance, which is more of an East African trait.

Most Americans don't realize the Sahara desert is bigger than the United states.

Just like different populations are different based on geographic space, that is a fair assessment of different populations in Africa.

Kobe grew up playing Soccer in Italy. At the least it's a no question if you pluck them out of the NBA in their primes.

Lebron. If he could learn to just punt, and have good reaction time, I think Lebron would be the ultimate goalie. He takes up so much space with his hieght and size, and 7 foot wingspan. He’s definitely athletic enough.
