The crazy thing is, my top 4 might get just a single invite from them:

1. Marquise Lee - Best player in the land and no one is close
2. Johnny Football - Can't deny what he's done as of late
3. Braxton Miller - Best player in the land no one is taking about
4. Tajh Boyd - See Miller comment, accounted for 8 TDs last week

Lee is far and away the best player in college football. Klein is the best QB/RB on a top 10 team

Overreact to 1 game? When you lay an egg that badly against BAYLOR who is ranked 120 out of 120 division 1 teams in total defense you deserve to tumble out of the Heisman discussion.

Furthermore everyone in the country seems to want to try to point to the LSU game where manziel had a mediocre day by his standards (yet still put up good numbers) as an indication of why he shouldnt win it. Having an average day against a top 10 LSU defense VS having a poor day against the 120 ranked Baylor defense???

This choice should be clear cut who wins this award yet these voters are literally trying to make every excuse in the world why to give it to anyone other than manziel.

Freshman, sophomore, junior or senior the kid has the best numbers in the most difficult conference of the most difficult division in the nation with a win on the road over the consensus #1 team in the country where he played lights out.

If they take care of business against Missouri these voters need to stop jerking around and being wishy washy. Just because the rest of the "Heisman field" is poor doesnt negate the fact that Manziel is still the best player in the country.

he's making tebow's heisman season look meh

With Texas A&M only having 2 games left in the season Johnny Manziel has a total of 38 touchdowns.. Tebow ended that year WITH 55 TOUCHDOWNS!!!

He had 32 passing touchdowns with 6 int (172 efficiency) to Johnny Manziels 21 touchdowns and 7 ints (155 efficiency)

He also had 23 rushing touchdowns to Johnnys 17.

Yes Johnny Manziels is a better rushing (per yards) and will most likely surpass Tebows passing yards (Tebow had like 3200 and Manziel will probably finish around 3500) Tim Tebows season was >>>>> JFF's.

Points > Yards

Is JFF good? Hell yeah. He will probably score another 6 touchdowns in the last 2 games and he should win the heisman, but to say his season makes Tebows season look "Meh" is just dumb.

AD in 2004 got the biggest shaft of them all. OU was undefeated and he was the best player

Even if OU weren't undefeated that year, dude was fricking unreal as a RB. As a freshman, no less...

If HB7 would have stayed clean and played this year, anyone think he would be almost a lock for the Heisman by oputting up similar numbers as last year?

It should be Lee, Klein, or Manziel. It has happened before but I have a hard time giving Heisman's to QBs who look like they are constantly throwing into a strong headwind though.

I don't usually watch TV during the week, so I honestly have no idea who the candidates are at this point.

I normally only have time to watch the LSU game and give or take another 1-2 games on Saturday, so I'm completely clueless as to who is making noise this year.

JF is a) a freshman

No sophomore had won it before Tebow. This is irrelevant because it's not a MVP or a Best Player award.

b) his team is not undefeated. that matters (for right or wrong)

Baylor and Florida were each 9-3 in the regular season when their Heisman winners won. IIRC, Southern Cal was 8-3/9-2 when Carson Palmer won as well.

johnny football is fricking shite up. he may finish with a better year than tebow or cammy cam in their respective years
Johnny Magic's stats:

Passing: 3,047 yards, 67.7%, 21 touchdowns, 7 interceptions, 155.1 rating
Rushing: 1,114 yards, 17 touchdowns, 6.5 average

Cam Newton's stats:

Passing: 2,854 yards, 66.1%, 30 touchdowns, 7 interceptions, 182.0 rating
Rushing: 1,473 yards, 20 touchdowns, 5.6 average

Tim Tebow's stats:

Passing: 3,286 yards, 66.9%, 32 touchdowns, 6 interceptions, 172.5 rating
Rushing: 895 yards, 23 touchdowns, 4.3 average

Tebow and Newton are still better, IMO. And I really like Johnny Magic.

Texas A&M had had 3 big games and Manziel played poorly in 2 of them. Klein has played big every single week except last week which he still had 3 tds.

Oh and as for the top conference crap the numbers this year show the Big 12 has been better
