No way Steph Curry is 6’3”

I think we all know KD is taller than 6’9”

I bet CP3 is shorter than he’s listed

Who else?

Also anyone know if there will be a site with the heights compiled in a list?

Kemba probably around 5-11
Draymond maybe 6-5 (what’s he listed as 6-8?)

How are they actually “enforcing” this?

Is it weight too?
I don’t think Lebron is 245 or 250 whatever they say he is

They have a “height czar” or whatever that is going around to verify all their heights

Expose? It won't "expose" anyone.

"HAHA, Steph Curry is really only 6'2", I guess he sucks now."

It will be absolutely meaningless.

Is RJ Barrett 6'4?

Draymond will probably be exposed for being shorter than 6'7, Paul is also probably shorter. IT is probably 5'5

KD and AD will both be taller than their reported heights.

It will "expose" them as liars, not as any less of a player

It's height (without shoes) and age, not weight because it was said that weight fluctuates too much, so it won't really be valid.

So who is "them"? The NBA? The teams? I'm pretty sure they don't ask the player "Height" and run with that.

Which makes the dominance of CP3 and Draymond even that more impressive

Teams/players probably. I doubt the NBA makes up numbers for the players. The players are measured before coming into the league, but some players obviously grow after that. It seems like they just stick with the initial height. The only reason it's a "thing" is because players like KD go out of their way to act like they are shorter than they are, for some weird reason. While others attempt to fudge their height in the other direction.

This whole thing came about because Buddy Hield either lied or there was some misinformation concerning his birthday. He's a year old than what had been initially reported when he came into the league. It's also been widely speculated that Ibaka is much older than reported, but I have no idea how they are going to validate players' ages.

Yeah, if anything it'll make the games of "good" players who fudge their height upwards be viewed as more impressive.

you make it sound like something bad will happen when these players get "exposed"

Why
It started with age verification, not sure why height came into play as well. I'm guessing they know there is a lot of misinformation out there regarding player heights. Knowing actual player heights on some instances is interesting to me.

Age verification makes sense but I can see how tall they are by looking at them and everyone else can too. This isn’t some big scam. These guys aren’t getting drafted by GMs that don’t know how tall they are.

The article is on MSN's page and it says "without shoes on".

But, If a player claiming 6'3" measures in at 6'2 and 1/4.... I'd be willing to bet they round him back up to 6'3".

And I'm willing to bet most players come in shorter than their current listed heights....

Kind of like WWE.....
