They haven’t sounded to convincing about Eason being the guy. They will bring in foles or a different veteran that has experience. My guess is they try to get Eason a lot of pt in the preseason games and if he’s struggling they will have a veteran ready to go. Who is still on the bears? Just foles and fields? Where’s Mitch?

Mitch is with the Bills. Dalton will be the starter with Chicago, with Fields taking over. I'm not sure why Foles is even needed at this point so Chicago should definitely be looking for trade partners.

Pretty sure they’ve been trying to trade him for months but no one wants him.
Only reason he’s still on the roster is because it costs them money to cut him this year. If they can find a trade partner they can get from under some of that money. But you need another team to want to pay him instead
