All at 25 mpg. Its only a 5 game sample size but his gravity is absolutely insane too. I won't get into net ratings with him at the 5 and with the starting lineup due to sample size, but they're ridiculous too.
Pels fricking smashed a good Grizzlies team last night. 14-7 since the 13 game losing streak.
And his minutes were limited in the beginning.

Really? I think he’s been far better than was reasonably expected coming in at this point in the season and still not at peak fitness.

the first night 3 pt shooting was a fluke. He is more of a 25% point shooter. He is just an effort guy out there right now playing hard. The skill level is lacking.

At some point, when you're catching 4-5 lobs a game and rebounding your own misses at an 81% clip, that's part of your skill set. If he's just an "effort guy" then he has the best "effort" in the history of basketball. All while being 10-15 pounds overweight.

he got a long ways to go is what I am saying. Alvin has a tough job to make this all fit. Maybe a playoff appearance next year? I hope so I would love to be able to attend some more playoff basketball here in town.

I don't necessarily think he does have a long way to go.
he's averaging 19 and 8 while shooting 65% from the field in the first 5 games of his career, against some pretty good competition. I also think we'll make the playoffs this year, gotta win a couple tough wins before the ASG and then its smooth sailing in the back end of the season (easiest schedule in the NBA).
we need to continue beating the teams between us and the 8 seed.
