re: Who was the poster who would host basketball card pack breaking?

Hell I'd love to start doing breaks. I just don't want to front the cost if people flake without paying.

I was in the basketball ones, coolest thing I ended up with was a Deion Jones auto at the end I think. But it's evolved to grabbing a signed Dame jersey from eBay, and a Joe Montana signed helmet from a breaker website. I have a whole box full of card hits, and have spent way too much money on it I'm addicted though.

Shops also open up the old card packs(bubble gum packs), picking out the good cards. Knew guys who ran a place, they had it down to a science. Would watch people come in to get a 10 year old pack, and wouldn't hit shite.

I've been watching Phil's Pulls youtube channel. He is a former pitcher for the Yankees. This guy buys the $5k-$10k boxes and those videos are always enjoyable to watch. Anyways, he said he bought a Fernando Tatis Jr. auto rookie card 1/1 for more than has first two cars combined. A quick search one ebay shows one of these cards going for $75k and another $60k. That is just dumb...

I watched another guy who does high end box breaks. He was searching for the 1/1 Rookie auto Zion card. He said it was $75k. He told guys in his stream that if they received a shitty card and he pulled the Zion that they'd get their money back. Also, if people didn't receive a card in the break then he'd give them their money back and compensate them a little more. All contingent on him pulling the Zion. He pulled the Zion.


I know this shite isn't realistic since the boxes are outrageous but it is entertaining to watch. I have got the itch BAD right now. But I'm not going to start blowing money until I can get to my parents house and search their attic for all of our old cards.

Any idea of what an Upper Deck, Mike Piazza game used bat card would be worth?

That sounds about right. The market is saturated with plain jersey and bat cards.
