Rodgers takes a bunch of sacks because he doesn't want to throw interceptions. It's not that he doesn't know where dudes are.

He's also great at getting out of the pocket and making plays on the move.

I have faith that both could have executed the plays Brady made. Very easily actually. I think it would be funny to watch Rodgers waste his talent in that system.

Winning the Super Bowl is a waste of talent

He's not.

He's done this in multiple threads. Basically just thinks you could stick half the quarterbacks in the NFL in Brady's shoes and the Pats would have 4 titles.

He doesn't think Brady is an all-time great. What he doesn't understand is that Brady could be 0-6 in Super Bowls and still be an all-time great. He's won the MVP twice. Only 8 quarterbacks in the history of the sport can say that.

Brady is the shite, no doubt. But he does have a point. Their gameplan was terrific. There was maybe only 3-4 passes brady threw where the ball traveled more than 8 yards
You still have to make correct reads/decisions, and those quick slants need to be timed perfectly to maximize the run after catch.

It's silly to think any QB can do it. Also silly to give so much credit by the OP to the OC, considering how many OCs Brady has been to, and they've left and never been able to duplicate Brady's success.

There's no system QB here, Brady is the system.

I'm asking why teams can't move to this type of offense. The QB had almost nothing to do with moving the football in this game.

How the frick are people arguing this?
Because it's not nearly as easy as you think it is.

If it was, other teams would be doing it successfully, the NFL is a copycat league.

Might even have more. Giving Brady credit for either of the 1st two Super Bowls would be insane.

Also, how many years have the Pats been knocked out if the playoffs because Brady couldn't muster 17 points?

He's REALLY good. And I think he could handle the tougher throws. He's proven he can. But what he's been asked to do in his playoff career isn't vet much...most of the time.

They win the Super Bowl and it's all on the OC

They lose a game against a great defense and it's all on Brady

It honestly just amazes me that someone can watch the game of football and then form opinions like the ones you have.

So he had nothing to do with those final drives in those first two Super Bowls?

Nothing.

Jay Cutler could have done that.

The sad part is his upvotes/downvotes ratio is about the same as I got in my thread stating Brady is the same QB whether SEA scored that late TD or threw an INT, which is why counting rings is mostly irrelevant.

FML!!!

First off, I'm getting shite on much harder than I figured I would :lol

But, I'm also being serious with the thread. And haven't made fun of brady. I can see how the underneath stuff was to offset what Seattle does well. It's still a huge/all of NE's game.

I'm asking why teams can't move to this type of offense. The QB had almost nothing to do with moving the football in this game.

You are correct. It is pointless to argue with dumb people, so I'm not arguing with you ever!!!

In the 4th quarter down ten to the best defense in the league Brady was 13/15 for 162 yds with two TDs

That is as clutch as it gets
