Romo. Seems like every year he's playing with broken ribs.

**********************************************************
The irrational Cowboy hate on this board won't allow his consideration, even though he's played with injuries that would be season ending for some.

I would agree with Favre, and Big Ben from ones I have seen. Favre's ironman streak is pretty impressive.

Tony Romo gets a lot of grief for a guy with historic accomplishments.

3× CBS All-Iron Award winner (2007, 2009, 2013)
Ed Block Courage Award (2011)

NFL record Highest QB Rating in 4th quarter
NFL record most passing attempts through 100 starts
NFL record most consecutive road games with a touchdown pass (41)
NFL record most games with 135+ passer rating in a season (6)

(and Brady is a stick-figured thin-boned metrosexual wuss and wouldn't have survived the 80's let alone the 70's.) - he is so lucky to have played in the watered-down era of the NFL.

Marsha wouldn't survive behind the Steelers offensive line a few years ago.

Donovan McNabb broke his ankle on the third play of a game and finished, throwing 20 for 25 and 4 TDs

Byron Leftwich broke his leg in a game at Marshall and finished the game despite having to be carried down the field by his OL

How the hell do we make it to page 4 and not mention either of those once? This board is crap.

Terry Bradshaw should be at or very near the top. Kapp was also up there.

And the guy who said Brady wouldn't have made it in the '70s is stone cold correct.

I don't know how this isn't a unanimous choice. He started 297 consecutive games most of which were before the "protect the QB" era.

It isn't close and isn't up for discussion.

Joe Kapp-He was once on the cover of Sports Illustrated with the title "The Toughest Chicano." Peej will vouch for his toughness.

I remember a game he played for the Vikings late in his career. I think it was against the Bears and they sacked him play after play after play. They darn near killed him that day, but he finished the game.

In fairness, those were one off incidents and one of them happened in a MAC game.

The quarterbacks mentioned were all guys who took a beating week in and week out.

Don't forget Romo also had his best season of his career and was the best Qb in the league in 2014 and played most of the season with a broken back. Oh and coming off of back surgery the previous off season
