He can donate more money to charity than that TV special will and without almost anyone ever knowing it.
He did absolutely nothing wrong.

i see nothing wrong with leaving cleveland. i do think the holding a hour special for it was lame but also funny considering it rubs salt in the wound for cleveland.

It's only when you leave a town that probably shouldn't have a team anyway when people call you a coward and a traitor, etc.

That's might thoughts there. I think a lot of people in Cleveland knew this could happen but don't drag out the shite like this.

Lebron doesn't owe Cleveland anything...they think he does...but he doesn't. It's not like Cleveland made him or anything. Any of the other teams could have won the lottery that year and he would have just done what he did in Cleveland somewhere else.
Probably would have won a championship somewhere the ownership gave a shite. and before someone says they tried to win...shaq?

Really? There was clamoring for this before it was announced days ago? I don't think so. I would have watched it if I was home but not because it was what I wanted as a fan, just to see where he was going.
Totally agree it was a smart business decision.

I think he should have taken it further, and do a Bachelor-like show about it, where each week every team but one gets a basketball. When it would be down to the final 2, it would be a 2-hour Finale where each team is basically begging him to play for them.

I am saying what I said on another thread.
Lebron pussied out. It's not that he did anything wrong, but he just pussied out...and to an extent so did Wade and Bosh.
The dude knew he couldn't beat that duo on South Beach, and rather than lace em' up, he decided to join them.
Wade has a ring minus Lebron. He rallied the troops while in a hole against Dallas.
MJ hung around til he finally got by the Pistons. Kobe stayed in LA til the Lakers finally got to the top without Shaq.
But not Lebron...

Agree.
One hour tv special: Unnecessary
Leaving Cleveland: Right move. Horrible Franchise. Lebron feels like he deserves more.

I don't think wade really punked out. He already won his in dramatic fashion. Kobe needed gasol and a stacked team to win. I understand he stayed in LA and waited it out but from what i remember he did have trade drama issue. And plus kobe had an organization that went out and surrounded him with winning talent. James just did what was best for him to win, i guess. And who says he cant go to a team where he is the lone superstar, after his time with the heat, and win some.

Wasn't Kobe demanding a trade after getting his arse kicked by the Suns? The Laker front office came through and surrouned him with a team that could win a title. The Cavs front office didn't. Period. Yeah MJ waited around but he also had a Top 50 NBA All-Timer in Pippen and a bunch of guys who played some defense.
Are you really comparing what organizations like Chicago and LA do to win championships with that joke of a franchise in Cleveland?
And so the hell what if he joins Wade & Bosh? Isn't that how they did it in Boston a couple years ago? Danny Ainge was hailed as a genious and the "Big 3" in Boston were celebrated as being unselfish, team players, etc.. Kobe wasn't doing shite until they added Gasol. Kobe wouldn't have done shite without Shaq. Wade didn't win until he got Shaq. Big deal, as long as he wins a title, who cares how he does it?
LeBron doesn't owe those Cavs fans shite! He just gave them the 7 best years in Cavs basketball history. frick them!
