As much as people want it to be A&M around here, the narrative is much more centered around Rosen's comeback than A&M's collapse around the country.

False - the narrative is centered on A&M's inexplicable decision to abandon the run game and throw the ball. Aggies handed UCLA with free timeouts, when they had run on them at will in the first half. This is what is being discussed on morning hot take shows

A&M....UT was definitely a Dud but blowing a lead like that (especially considering how good they looked) is hard to recover from.

In hindsight the Texas loss isn't that surprising.

Maryland has their system down, well coached, and play in a great conference. Texas is charmin soft compared to the big 10.

No one in recent memory has fallen further in a shorter time than Baylor so that's my final answer.

Texas

no one expected Baylor to be even good.

A&M could have won with better clock management.

Texas lost to a team that has not won a division, no less conference, in how long?
2nd in their ACC division in 2010.

Texas is now ranked below North Dakota State "AA" in Sagarin

The Rosen come back is this year's "Texas is back." both teams will likely be irrelevant after this game but everyone will remember that come back.

That week 1 Sunday night game is big stage

Back on track? What track is that? The team has only finished above .500 in conference play 5 times in the past 17 seasons.

I'll go with Baylor. Anyone who closely follows Baylor (apparently not Joey Galloway) knew that there would be at least a year or two wear getting 6 wins would be tough, but losing to liberty is bad. Playing 11 true freshman (with 5 more possibly playing this week) speaks well for the future, but it sure doesn't speak well for this year's win total. If baylor can't win this week, a win this season might be a long shot.

UCLA will be a much better team than Maryland

I disagree. Maryland lost their starting QB and best defender during the game vs Texas and didn't miss a beat. Their backup QB, a true freshman, led them to a touchdown that put the game out of reach.

It would not shock me at all if Maryland finished with a better record and wound up in a better bowl than UCLA.

I predict Maryland coach DJ Durkin will be getting a lot of looks from schools needing a new coach after this season.

As to which Texas team had the worst week? Baylor hands down. This is Liberty U's first year in divison 1.

aTm They have been thrown into the most turmoil. Their coaching staff has basically been converted to lame duck status with the whole season left to play.
