im not convinced we can fill in the holes on our defense. we are really going to need vanderdoes so we can stop the run and then on top of that, we are replacing people on our offensive line. i think USC is the team to beat in the south but its wide open. i guess i should have changed my comment to "last years team was the best team mora had and probably had a legit chance to make a run to the playoffs but got hit with injuries" and this team isnt the same

Oregon is going to be a big wild card in the league. I can see the team being anywhere from barely bowl eligible to returning back to form and making the playoffs.

oregon/washington/stanford are all going to be battling and i even think WSU can wiggle its way just because the universe wants the pirate to have a successful team

the pac 12 is going to be mayhem and its going to make the after dark threads a blast

anyone think the pac 12 gets the benefit of the doubt this year because they were left out last year?

(even though they deserved to be left out last year.)

the committee isn't supposed to operate like that, right?

Oklahoma v. Houston
How hard do you think OU tried to get out of this game? When they scehduled them, they were a great type of team to play week 1. Solid, but nothing to really worry about. Now they are a small name school with a legit chance to win, but if you beat them, nobody cares because their name is still "Houston."

No. I think the committee has been very good. I think the PAC will have to deserve it.

Oh yeah. The PAC is so wide open this year. Last year I had a feeling Stanford would take it because the schedule was so favorable. With Stanford and Oregon having new QB's, this is Washington's chance. This is also UCLA's chance.

I am not going sleep on Dykes or Anderson at Cal and Oregon State as well. There is a shite ton of parity.

It all comes down to Prukop for Oregon. I hated the Hoke hire but no coach has turned my opinion of them as much as Hoke. I really believe he will get them to respectable this year and to really good in the next few years.

Utah is so loaded up front on both sides of the ball. The were also really young and rangy in the secondary last year and looked really good. That's going to be a really tough out.

The annual hype for that soft, overrated program is hysterical to me. TCU is gonna wax that arse this year. TCU is easily my biggest sleeper.

Also, did someone really say FSU was overrated? They return almost everyone and have recruited as well as everyone not named Bama. They also have the best RB in the nation. They will be very good this year.

I'm all for it. They can't focus on us until game week.

I think they will have a similar season to last year. They lost their best player off a pretty bad defense

Oregon's defense played so bad that it really can't get worse. In fact, good coaching will make it much better.

How good is the Pac12 this year? I don't think it was as good as they were projected last year, but the conference really beat each other up. Seems like 2016 is going to be similar.
