I never said it was a full season of stats. I could have picked a chunk of 50 games for all you know.

The whole point is to not try and look up the stats to figure it out who it is before deciding.

That's the fun. There is no right or wrong answer.

Is player A on the 3 seed?

Nah, that's irrelevant.

The fun is to try and figure out who it is.

Player A: 23.5 ppg, 9.1 ast, 6.2 reb, 62% TS%

Player B: 25.0 ppg, 8.2 ast, 8.4 reb, 55% TS%

I'm interested to see who these mythical players are, especially considering only 5 players have ever pulled even the minimum of 23 ppg, 8 ast, 6 rebounds, and a 54% TS%. LeBron and Westbrook have done it twice, and Harden, Jordan, and Magic have done it once.

You can pick a player and then try to figure it out.

The whole point is to lean one way or the other based on the numbers, then verify that suspicion by finding out who the players are.

They're not mythical. I said it could be that I picked out a big chunk of games and these are the stats over that span.

We have Harden and Westbrook's exact TS% this season for player A & B.

What kind of shenanigans do we have going on here?

I'm certain it's Harden and Westbrook, there pts/reb/ast numbers are adjusted down in some sort of way that I don't care to figure out though.

I win.

The only way to have a TS% that high is to shoot a bunch of three pointers, so I'll take Player B, as this looks like the stat line of a power forward, and I want my PF to play inside and eat your soul. I'll take those extra rebounds. Hopefully, Player B also throws elbows.

Both players shoot a lot of 3's. One is better at making them than the other. Neither are PF's.

They're mythical (legendary) in the sense that they've only been accomplished over an entire season by 5 players.

A and ask him to shoot a couple more times a game.

I'd like to know more about their usage and turnover numbers, but on the surface I'll take Player A.

This game is played out.

Tell us what method you used to adjust Harden and Westbrook's raw numbers to arrive where you did.
