He is saying that they were Katrina kids enrolled @ schools in Metro NOLA.
Both from the Westbank.
Collins-Algiers
Lacy-Gretna
They became students@ Dutchtown After Katrina.
Football season had started and rosters were submitted by the time Katrina hit!!
Doesn't mean they did not start their sports careers in their at the original high schools..

What high school would Randy Livingston had went to if not Newman? He was from the Calliope or Melphomeme projects, wasn’t he?

Neville currently has the most players in the NFL than any other school in Louisiana.
If we can keep Rashard healthy and on a NFL roster for a few more years we will be adding big Will Campbell to the list as well.

Ajay Allen could very well make it too.

Very true, forgot about Quick 6. ZaLance as well but some of those that are on the current list will probably fall off by the time these guys make it to the show.
On a second note question to LSU fans, if ZaLance starts this season, will LSU ever have had 2 guys on the O-line from the same high school start at the same time?

Barbe - Baseball
Who their MLB talent?
Barbe has a reputation in baseball for throwing their players arms out in HS.
The only player that made it to the league and was good is Wade LeBlanc.
The head coach had 2 sons. 1 a 1st round pick, the other a 4th round pick but they never really amounted much in the Pros.
Gavin Guidry (LSU player) will have a very good chance of getting drafted.

Rodney Reed and Andrew Whitworth. West Monroe. Plus Brad Smalling might’ve started some games with Reed.

It's hard to say..
Livingston had his pick of schools..
B.T.Washington was his district school.
Ive heard that he was on everyone's radar as a kid.
That's a good question.

Maybe not in terms of quantity, but in terms of quality, Newman has to be towards the top right?
Peyton, Eli, Odell, Randy Livingston, that's a pretty damn good quartet!

I've seen several references to this info but didn't see an actual link:
