Seems like a better all-New squad would be
PG: Chris Paul, Russell Westbrook
SG: Kobe Bryant, James Harden, Dwyane Wade
SF: LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Carmelo Anthony
PF: Tim Duncan, Kevin Love
C: Shaquille O'Neal, Dwight Howard, Marc Gasol
I'd be tempted to take Paul/Bryant/James/Duncan/O'Neal in their respective primes. Dunno that they'd be better, but prime Shaq, prime James and prime Duncan probably makes a better frontcount than prime Bird/Robinson/Russell.
Of course, it's hard to know when you include a guy that played as far back ago as Bill Russell.

Dwayne Wade
1. Steph Curry
- Imagine the shots he could get playing with LeBron and who will be my center (Marc Gasol)

Kobe Bryant
2. Russell Westbrook
- I think Westbrook is one of the few guys who could score for you and stay in front of MJ.
3. Lebron
- I think he would have to probably play the 4 on defense though
4. Kevin Durant

Dwight Howard
5. Marc Gasol
- I will take Marc over Dwight in a heart beat. He will hold down the paint, rebound, shoot, pass, and make free throws.

I'll go with a starting 5 and a bench 5

Sir Charles
Kareem
Current Team
Paul
Kobe

The yesterday squad would beat the today. Way too many awesome big men for the current squad to compete

Why is Shaq on the today roster when he's retired?
Posted on 4/30/13 at 5:18 am to VerlanderBEAST
Just feel like he is more recent than the other guys.
Plus without him the today roster really has no shot

exactly, a guy that was in his prime 13 years ago and was drafter 20 years ago is "new school" to make the teams fair
Shaq, a retired player belongs on the older squad.
